We are an interdisciplinary program that aims to study a broad swath of time and space with a equally broad scope of fields. Through the disciplines of art, language & literature, modern religions, history, theater, religion, and more, we study Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and the Americas from 500 CE to 1700 CE. Throughout the Medieval and Renaissance eras, ideas on gender and sexuality, colonialism, and philosophy were rapidly expanding and laying the groundwork for modern study of the liberal arts.

Let your curiosity move you with Medieval and Renaissance Studies.
